Michelle’s passion for dance started in Connecticut, where she was born and raised. She took her first dance class at 3 years old and the rest is history! After high school she attended Central Connecticut State University where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Marketing. During her time in college, she taught at several studios throughout CT. She completed an internship at the Broadway Dance Center, where she trained extensively under top choreographers including Luam and Dana Foglia. Michelle was also part of Rhapsody James’ second season of Motivating Excellence, a rigorous, intimate 3 month commercial dance training program.
In 2013, she made the move to Los Angeles and shortly after, signed with Go2Talent Agency. Since then, she has toured nationally with R&B singer, Kayla Brianna, appeared in several music videos with top artists including Chris Brown, Jhene Aiko, Kayla Brianna and Dreezy. She has performed in various sold out productions in Los Angeles and Stockholm, Sweden as a proud member of RICHFAM, an international company under the direction of Rob Rich.
Along with performing, Michelle has maintained her passion for teaching and choreography. She’s had the privilege of working on projects for Kidz Bop and various other artists. She continues to teach and choreograph for studios and universities throughout CT and NY, where she now resides. Mostly recently, she performed in Candace Brown’s production “The Soul Spot" and has co-founded a dance intensive created to help bridge the gap between studio dance and commercial industry. Michelle is very happy to join the Allegra family!
